Gerald's obituary
Gerry grew up in Illinois before joining the Navy, moving to Texas, and finally settling in Indianapolis. Gerry was a huge history buff with a love of John Grisham books . Gerry loved serving the Lord and others as a member of St. John's Episcopal, Speedway and an organ-tissue donor. He loved his family and friends deeply and truly. Many fondly remember he and his wife, Suzie, as providing a home for the strays - animals and kids.
Gerry was preceded in death by his loving wife of more than 35 years, Susanna "Suzie" Farrell. He is survived by sisters: Barbara Peterson, Alice (Rich) Farrell, and Mary Clare (Jack) Bucher; loving children Virginia "Ginny" (Steve) Jones, Christine "Chrissy" (Chris) Wagner, Scott (Erin) Farrell, and Colleen (Kyle) O'Brien; grandchildren: Kathryn (Will), Eric, Kyle, CJ, and Saoirse; and great-grandchildren: Alex, Ethan, Lily, Harley & Liam.
Gerry will be remembered as a kind and loving man, father, and grandfather. He will be remembered for his cheesy jokes, his big heart, and his Facebook comments.
