Jerry and I went through Grade School & High School together. Later in life we got back in touch by phone when he lived in Colorado & Texas. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I will celebrate a Mass for his intention. May he rest in peace. Fr. Stewart Lindsay, OSFS

He was one of the most intelligent, gracious, and endearing individuals I ever knew. He lit up the room when he entered with his warm smile and huge heart. I had the pleasure of working with Jerry for almost a decade while at K. Hov. When he left New Jersey, I compiled a book of "Jerryism", sayings/learnings he shared with all of the team members he trained and coached throughout the years. He got quite a kick out of the book and all of the notes written to him. Jerry had the unique ability to engage and leave an everlasting memory with all of those who had the pleasure to meet him. He will truly be missed. Heaven now has another one of the good ones watching over us.
Sending love and prayers to Nick, Krista, Sean and Ryan and the rest of his family and friends.

A friend gave me a coffee mug with a Winnie the Pooh quote that reads "How long will we be friends, asked Piglet. How long is forever, said Pooh". That's how I feel about Jerry. I will smile every time I think of him. He brought his irrepressible sense of optimism, fun, brash humor, adventure, and no-nonsense advice to every occasion. He was loyal and loving and will never be forgotten.

Thank you Jerry for the incredible mark you left on this world, we are all better for it. We were glad to have known you through our few encounters through Dennis, they were a pleasure. May your family and loved ones cherish their memories with you, and may they feel your loving embrace as they face the journey ahead. Rest in peace Jerry, you will be greatly missed.

One of the nicest guy you will ever meet. Great trainer and always saw the big picture.
Not a pretentious bone in his body.
I valued our friendship greatly and I offer my prayers to the family
