It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Georgene "Juju" Zambrano on April 24, 2025. Born on February 16, 1965, Georgene lived her life with an exuberance that touched everyone she knew. She was a pillar of strength and resilience for her family, and her warmth and joy will be missed dearly.

Known to many as Juju, she is survived by her loving husband, Jose Zambrano, their sons Gil and Eric Zambrano, her father George Winters, her mother Marilyn Blue, her sister Janelle Rivers and her brother Michael Quintana. She was predeceased by her brother, Daniel Quintana.

Georgene was a voracious reader with a soft spot for cookbooks. Her love of food extended beyond the pages of books to the kitchen, where she would often prepare meals while sipping her favorite drinks, wine and coffee. In her downtime, she would enjoy Hallmark movies and cheering for her favorite team, the LA Galaxy. Georgene also had a zest for dancing and would often be the life of the party at her Zumba classes.

A woman of vivacious spirit, she was known for her funny, caring, bubbly, generous, loving, honest, and reliable nature. Georgene believed in the golden rule – do unto others as you would have them do unto you – and she lived her life according to this principle. Her greatest accomplishment was her loving family, a testament to her kindness and generosity.

As we bid farewell to Georgene, she leaves behind a legacy full of kindness and generosity. She touched the lives of not only her family and friends but everyone else she interacted with. Her love and laughter will be eternally missed.
