I got to know Lecky through our mutual love of squash, not the vegetable but the game of squash. Lecky and I would see eachother across the country at squash tournaments. At the time I was living in New York City, but we bonded on the fact that he was the only person I knew from Iowa or Nebraska who played squash at a competitive level. Since Red Oak is only 50 miles from Omaha, whenever I visited home, I would call Lecky to organize a squash match. I really enjoyed being his guest at the Omaha Club. Lecky was a fierce competitor yet a total gentleman and kind person. May he RIP. The squash world misses him greatly!
Lecky was 1 of a kind.  He lived his life to the fullest.  My fondest memories are watching him Wind Surfing and on the Squash courts.  He will remain always young in my mind.  RIP dear friend
I am sorry of your loss.  Dr. Young was interesting to know.  Peace to Dr. Young's memory.
