I met George when he was in Cincinnati managing SchaererMayfield USA. He was a great person in every respect. An ultimate gentleman with a great human touch. Loved playing golf with George. And a few years later visited he and Noi in Phoenix where we played a round and they entertained me in their beautiful home. Wonderful man and I cherished my interactions with him

I met George a few years ago while walking our dogs in the park right outside my backyard. Family, sports, politics, life, we talked about it all, many times through my backyard fence. He’d stand out there until I noticed him. He was the sweetest. George had a gang out there in the park and his little white golf cart was a literal dog whistle 😂 Twice a day at 8 and 3 he was out there seven days a week. I miss my friend, his calm voice, his knowledge, wisdom, and kindness.
My sincere condolences to Noi and all Georges children and grandchildren. He sure loved you guys and was a very proud grandfather.

The passing of George is very saddening. Our hearts (John and Lori) go out to Noi and all of George’s family.
I guess it was about 8 years ago when we moved to Mesa, AZ, that I wandered into this city park while walking my dog. There was a group of people there who had their dogs too. It was a nice park and the dogs were all running around and having a good time, so I decided to keep going there in the mornings. After several times going there, some of the group, including George, came up to me and said hello. That was the start of getting to know several people around this area and George was kinda like the band leader. All the dogs got to know each other as well as all the people. Now I see Noi there most mornings giving the same love to their dog that George gave. I miss the old fart badly and will continue to see the folks in the park for many years to come.
With great respect,

George and Noi were paired to play a round of golf with me and my mom when I was a sophomore in university. Look, I tell you, the two of them set my life's direction. I'm writing this from Beijing, and I'd not be here if not for them being so darn interesting and kind that when I ran back to them after saying our goodbyes on the 18th and asked if they wanted to have dinner at Benihana's, they obliged. Not only did they become my friends, but also of my parents. I studied abroad in Italy 18 months later, inspired by Noi's life there. It was amazing - eye opening to a kid from Cincinnati. When I was home from university, I'd play golf with George, and he'd recount some fascinating stories and tell me all the interesting things happening in medical sales and real estate - all while sinking 15 foot putts and taking another $5 from me. George and Noi came to my graduation! Who am I? Some kid. And I was irresponsible and decided to take a run at Hollywood. I still remember walking along a beach path and getting a call from George and Noi, asking how it was going... Not terrible, all things considered, but I was to be introduced to Chris Nebe, the Nebe of Noi's past marriage. "We think you two will get along." Yep. Chris was a great friend for 15 years, before he passed in '21, during which time we made a slew of films in China and I now run the company he founded, which is why I am in Beijing. This is all to say that George Woolston (and Noi) will always be with me because I'd not be me without him. Thank you for sharing your father, husband, brother, friend, and son with me. -JJ

Ever since Noi met George, he has been an honorary part of our family - we will miss celebrating Christmases, top golf lessons, dog walks, splashing in the pool in Cap Pavilion and his wicked laugh more than anything.

My Dad, my mentor, and one of my best friends. I miss you terribly - miss hearing your voice and sharing stories with you. I miss your hugs and your true interest, care and concern for us all. So many great memories of you taking us around the world and hours and hours on the golf course together especially during our many member/guest events (we just may have had more fun than anyone else at those events)! You taught us hard work and perseverance and how important it was to show interest and kindness to others. Everyone he met loved him and loved his energy - what a storyteller! Work hard, play hard and love hard - that is my Dad. You left us to soon and too quickly and just wish I had more time to swing a golf club and tilt a glass with you. We miss you and you will always be a part of us. Love, Dax

Honestly, hard to imagine a world without George. He was always so warm and welcoming. He made my world a better place.
