George Lee Williams, Jr. AKA Chico was born in Wildwood, NJ to parents, George Lee Williams, Sr. and Daisy A. Williams on July 7, 1946 and passed away on June 10, 2024 at the age of 77.
George served the United States Army for 12 years. He discovered his passion for barbering at a young age and honed his craft for over 50 years. Known for his impeccable attention to detail and unwavering dedication to his clients. George created more than just hairstyles, he created moments of joy and self-assurance for all who sat in his chair. Building lasting friendships and connections that span generations. George was a jack of all trades and had numerous interests.
George was a devoted family man who adored and loved his children, grandchildren, and all of his family members. He was a pillar of strength. His unwavering support and unconditional love were the cornerstones of our family's foundation. He was a beacon of strength during times of adversity and a source of joy during moments of celebration. George touched the lives of his family members with love, guidance, and support, leaving an indelible mark on each soul he encountered. His presence brought warmth and comfort and his absence leaves a void that can never be filled.
George Lee Williams, Jr. is survived by his children - Yvette, George III (Poncho), John (Cisco), Jennine (NiNi), Malcom Sr., Kimberly (Gia); his grandchildren - LaToya, Desiree, George C., Zarayah, Malcom Jr., Sage, Lewis (LJ), Mia, Zain, Zuri, Dominique, Antoinette, Jermaine Jr., and Jamir; six great grandchildren; his sisters - Priscilla (Cakie) and Fern (Candy); and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Daisy Williams, father, George Williams Sr., and brother, John Williams (Champ).
May his children and grandchildren find solace in the profound impact he made on their lives; knowing that his love will forever guide and protect them. Forever cherished, forever loved, Chico will remain an everlasting presence in the hearts of all who loved him.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Christ Gospel Church, 2209 Route 9 South, Whitesboro, NJ, with his funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans Cemetery.
