George's obituary

My Dad, the hardest working man I know. He loved his family and wife. He leaves behind his wife Maria, daughters Ramona, Maria (with you in heaven), Cornelia,(Danny: spouse of Cornelia) (only son) George, daughters Emilia and Gheorghina (Adrian: spouse of Gheorghina). He loved his grandkids Melanie (Teofil: spouse of Melanie) Bălăceanu, Nick (Alina: spouse of Nick) Todor, Aaron, Olivia, Kristion, Genessee, Danny, Austin, Adelina, Alex, Aurora, Mathew, Shyanne, Jocelyn and Angeleen. His great grandchildren were Nehemiah, Timothy, Eliana, Asaf and Asher, and his best friend Flynn (his dog). He loved worshiping the Lord through song and his accordion. He enjoyed his little animals and found peace in taking care of them. He was a husband to his wife Maria, who remained faithful till the very end. He was a father to the fatherless and a friend to those who needed a lending hand.

Dad thank you for teaching me how to be a hard worker from such a tender age. You taught us all to love music and encouraged us to learn different instruments and practice Saturday evenings for Sunday morning church even when we didn’t want to. You always pushed us to do our best and you tried to make decent humans out of us. I’ll miss making your favorite desserts (cremes, and clătite). I gotta say, Dad, you loved to cook! You made the best macaroane cu pesmet and lapte de pasare! I worked hard just to see you smile and hear that you are proud of me. You loved working with your hands. You fixed our first cars and you’d be the first person we’d call when we needed to fix something on them. You made us feel safe and secure. You were a provider and your calloused hands proved it. We always knew we can count on you. You’d get emotional when you’d talk about your kids. Your love for us was sometimes unheard with words, but always seen in the works of your hands. Loving and missing you always. Forever and always, the Psalm you painted on the rock sitting outside your apartment: Psalm 34. More and more pieces of our hearts are now in Heaven. I love you Dad, we all love and will miss your advice and words of wisdom.

Love always, your baby flower Gheorghina
