Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Marine Veteran

George Stonesifer, 81, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025, surrounded by family. A proud Marine who served in the Vietnam War, George lived a life marked by courage, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.

George is survived by his devoted wife of many years, Susan Stonesifer; his two children, Lisa Aguilar (Javier) and Chris Stonesifer (Lauren); and his cherished grandchildren: Krista, Alyssa (Xavier), Jakob, Jenna, Vivienne, and Susan. He also leaves behind his loving siblings, Linda Palmer (Steve) and Richard Stonesifer (Jean), along with many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss him.

He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his kind heart, and his deep loyalty to family and country. George's legacy lives on in the values he instilled, the stories he shared, and the love he gave so freely.

A memorial gathering to honor George's life will be held on Tuesday, August 5, from 4:00-7:00 PM

at Kindred Gastropub, 6460 College Rd Suite B, Lisle, IL 60532. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend and share memories.
