I babysat for George and Dee’s beautiful daughters as a teenager and was fortunate enough to become friends with them as an adult. George was a very kind man that I enjoyed getting to know when I moved back to McLean and we became neighbors. He and Dee were so welcoming to me and my husband.

He will be missed by friends and his lovely family. Our condolences to Dee, Lara, and Courtney.

George was the first manager to get me promoted at MITRE.. he was a father figure to me for years. I will always remember the parties we had together with Cookie Good at the Middleburg Races. He will forever be in my heart ♥️ my deepest condolences to Dee, Lara and Courtney.

George the celebrity in the local Scottish paper!
Rest in Peace George. God bless and keep you and your wonderful family. George was instrumental to my successes at MITRE and was the exemplar of a project leader, innovative thinker, and technical contributor. His family was always at the forefront of our discussions. I was with George, he was my project leader, in the Pentagon on 9/11 and the days after. The impact of that terrible event never left us I cherish my memories, our daily talks over coffee and with cookies! And he had such an infectious smile.
MITRE has lost a great colleague and friend. George was a wonderful person to work with.
Good old George - I will miss him. Great colleague at work. Wrote wonderful poetry for retirement lunches.
