George's obituary
Born to Charles and Dorothy McCall in 1935, George spent his early years in Minot, ND before moving to Seattle in the 40’s. He attended Sacred Heart Elementary and later graduated from O’Dea High School with the class of 1952.
He then spent the next four years in the United States Air Force, serving part of that time in Korea.
While in high school he met a delightful young woman named Eleanor Garcia, a student at Immaculate High School. After leaving the Air Force, George married Eleanor on Sept. 1st, 1956. They celebrated 64 years of marriage this past September.
Later, George got a job as an electronic technician with The Boeing Co. In 2000 he celebrated his retirement after 40+ years with Boeing.
George & Eleanor have been members of St. Joseph’s Parish for over 60 years with all four of their sons attending St. Joseph’s School.
George also devoted over 20 years of his time to the Boy Scouts and was the father of two Eagle Scouts.
He is preceded in death by his sisters Maxine Knowles and Rosemary Devino. He is survived by his lovely and patient wife Eleanor McCall, children; Daniel, Donald, Richard and Bryan, granddaughters Kari and Samantha McCall, three great-grandchildren, brother Charles (Joyce) McCall and many nieces and nephews.
