George's obituary

George H. Kordalski, Sr., 81, of Walnutport passed away at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. George was born in Philadelphia on January 26, 1941, the son of the late Henry Kordalski and Vera (Eckenrode) Kordalski of Philadelphia. George was predeceased by a sister, Mary Kordalski and son, George H. Kordalski, Jr.

George served in the U. S. Navy, as a diver, right out of High School, and was present during the Cuban Missile Crisis on the USS Kiowa. George worked for Houghton International, as a maintenance mechanic, for over 40 years. George was a Jehovah’s Witness for over 50 years. George was an avid flea marketer and loved going to yard sales. George was a devoted family man and loved playing with his grandkids.

George will lovingly be remembered by his wife of 55 years, Dorothy H. (Blood) Kordalski, his daughter, Nancy (Kordalski) Folk and husband Jeff, of Newark, DE, son Richard Kordalski and wife Shirley, of Lake Wales, FL, and son David Kordalski and wife Holly, of Walnutport, PA. Grandfather to Elizabeth, Jackson, and Jason Folk, Hope, Sara, Anna, Matthew, and Rebecca Kordalski and Great-Grandfather to Harper Calhoun. George will also be missed by many close friends that were like family. George was a friend to everyone.

There will be no official services but a Celebration of his Life will be held at a future time. George donated his body to Science Care, which will help burn victims.
