George was a great man and a great father, he came into the barbershop and we would talk about many things ranging from current events to sports or life ambitions and goals. I love to travel and when I would go to Boston George would send me many recommendations on where to eat and what to do. He raised an incredible young man Evan. I’m so sincerely sorry for your loss, this world was a much better place with George in it.

With sincere love, respect and gratitude, I wanted to thank each and every one of you during this most difficult time. Thank you to all for your love, support, prayers, donations and sharing in our unbelievable and immense grief. Losing George is such a profound loss for so many of us. George was my cherished husband & best friend and the love he had for his children was beyond measure. Reading through all the posts, texts, messages and looking through all the pictures it is clear that George was incredibly loved by all those he encountered, coworkers, friends and family alike. In addition, George had such an amazing and giving heart filled with Christian love for all and he always wanted to “do unto others as you would have them do to you”. (Luke 6:31).
We were all so truly blessed to have George in our lives. May we forever cherish his love, patience, selflessness and genuine kindness and always remember his contagious smile. May his memory be eternal.
Thank you to each and every one of you.
With sincere love and gratitude,
Helen, Evan & Marina

I went to school and was roommates with George in college. We hadn’t spoken in a very long time, for no other reason that life simply took us different ways, but I never lost the fondness I had for him. I remember George as one of the most grounded, dependable, and hardworking people I’ve ever met. He was honest, genuine and kind. As I learned of his passing, I instantly felt saddened and loss, despite not having seen him in so long. He touched my life like he did so many others. The world needs more George’s and I will remember him with great fondness. I’m so thankful for the time I had with him. My deepest condolences to his family and all who loved him.
