George Louis Heitman, 73, passed away peacefully at home in Altoona, Iowa on Monday, November 28, 2022. He was born April 1, 1949 in Marengo, Iowa to Milton George and Mary LaVonne Heitman.
George graduated from Iowa Valley, class of 1967. He soon after attended and graduated from The University of Northern Iowa, class of 1972 with a Bachelors in Arts and Teaching. He went on to teach many students in a variety of Arts …
