We have been neighbors and friends with the Gould family for almost 30 years. Warren’s warm smiles and friendly greetings always brightened our days whenever we crossed paths. He was not only a kind-hearted man but also incredibly loving towards our children. Our hearts go out to his family during this difficult time. May they find peace and comfort in the memories they shared with him.

Pat, Sending prayers for you and your family! 🙏🏼I am so sorry for your loss!! Mary Bann
Enjoyed our many walks especially the day after Halloween when he picked up many pieces of candy from the sidewalk. Loved looking at Pat's garden and listening to music with him. Will be missed dearly but remembered always.

I was so sorry to hear about Mr Gould’s passing. He was such a kind hearted man and offered the nicest of words/memories of our dad when we last saw him that it brought comfort to our family. Wishing his family peace and comfort at this difficult time. -Janiece Theeke (Daughter of Jon Theeke)

We have such great memories through the 45+ years we’ve known the Gould family and we will miss Warren’s special way of being, his smiling face, and our numerous conversations on the big and small things in life…of which updates on family were always foremost on his mind! In addition, he always made us feel welcome on visits with open arms and warm hugs, interest in our lives, and Happy Hour specialties and delicious meals from his Weber grill. How fortunate to have had him as a friend and in our lives for so many years!

He was one of the best, a very special person. We are all fortunate to have been his friend.

A Spartan

Admiration

By Dr. HA Theeke

He was the friend of my brother and the brother of my friend,

One of my first friends who met a most untimely end.

And the time we tried to speak about his brother who died,

My brother’s friend and my friend’s brother and I cried.

He was the wonderful one who was there for everyone.

He said we can live vicariously if we are given the right son.

He always flashed a smile when given a chance.

And we kept together by keeping each other at a distance.

Still, I learned from him a very simple truth.

We all are surely a product of our youth.

With hard work I watched him train on hurdles in track.

And from a distance I watched as he always gave back.

I learned from him one can be both rich and kind.

I learned from him, if you look you will find,

A way to help, and a way to give,

A way to work, and a way to live,

Like when life does you wrong it is best to forgive,

And there is peace filled happiness when you stay positive.

I learned that one sometimes must do what is hard,

Like getting over the hurdles that you put in the yard.

So, peace to you who knew him I now send.

Peace to my friend’s brother and to my brother’s friend.
