We're remembering and missing George today. I can't remember what prompted his response here but his sense of humor was always witty, and usually a bit dry and corny.

Mr. Downs taught Geoff and I how to program on the family 286 computer at an early age, a skill that would later turn into a career for us both. It all started with him.

I remember car rides in “the beast,” shooting BB guns in the back yard, and countless other memories with Mr Downs and the whole family.

We miss you!

Mr. Downs was a leader and an inspiration to us at Acton Kenpo. He was a dedicated instructor for many years who had great patience and paid attention to details. He always showed up with a big smile and ready to work out hard.
