George's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George Clausset on May 17, 2025. Born March 8, 1950, George lived a full and colorful life, touching those around him with his vivacious personality and generous spirit. He was a man who savored life's simple joys, whether that was a plate of pernil, a cold Budweiser, or a game of poker with friends. A proud supporter of the New York Yankees, he could often be found cheering on his favorite team with unrestrained enthusiasm.
George was known for his love of music and cinema, with Frankie Cruz and "Taken" being his favourites respectively. His zest for life and adventure led him to enjoy many recreational activities, fishing being among his favourite past times. Often, he was spotted by the Delaware River, a local spot he held dear to his heart. His love for travel was no secret, with Puerto Rico being his favourite vacation spot.
Retiring from Rap pallet in 2018, George dedicated his time to causes close to his heart, especially his grandkids. He was a man who believed in the power of giving people a chance, a lesson he imparted to all who knew him. His catch of a big bass was among his proudest achievements, a testament to his patience and determination.
George was known for his loud, always on the go personality, a trait that was endearing to his friends and family. His love for the color blue was well-known, an expression of his vibrant personality. His legacy of kindness will continue to inspire those who knew him.
He is survived by his loving Granddaughter Jazmine Clausset, his Son Jorge Clausset, his Niece Yvonee Clausset, and his Cousin Brenda Ramos. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Linda Clausset. His presence will be deeply missed by his flock of a family and all those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
