Personal note from George's Friend and Companion, Pat

George was a good person and Christian, and he loved his family very much. Once he moved to Virginia in 2003, he found a new source of family with his friend, Pat. Her two daughters, Kimberly, with Peter Leighton, and Bonnie and Larry Sims, and her son, Brandon, all grew very close to him at that time. They spent 19 years sharing holidays and weekend dinners and developed a very warm and lasting friendship during his years at Lake Monticello, VA and then in Colorado Springs, CO. He also enjoyed knowing Bonnie and Larry Sims' daughters, Jaedyn, age 13, and Madison, age 12. He will be very much missed by all his family and extended family.
