Gentry Sawyer, 66, of Longview, TX, passed away on May 16, 2025, after a brief illness.
Gentry was born on November 13, 1958, to Mildred Johnson and Edward Sawyer Sr in Natchitoches Louisiana. After graduating from Natchitoches Central High School in 1977 he went on to work with Skeeter Boats for 30 years.
Gentry was a force of nature and loved by close friends and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. His family meant …
