Genovevo's obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Genovevo "Babot" Quiocho, also affectionately known by many as "Tito Geno" aka "Uncle Babot." Born on November 19, 1953, Genovevo sadly departed us on April 7, 2025.
Genovevo leaves behind a beautiful family, including his devoted wife, Felma Quiocho, his cherished sons, Geoffrey Quiocho and his wife, Renee Quiocho, and Gene Quiocho and his wife, Valerie Quiocho; and his cherished grandchildren, Brielle, Greyson, Penelope and Maverick. His kind, giving, and loving nature fostered a warm and caring family atmosphere that always made everyone feel important.
Tito Geno had a fondness for travel and adventure, with his favorite spots including various locations in the Philippines such as Narvacan, Ilocus Sur, Palawan, and Boracay. He was also an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed camping and the joy of cooking under the open sky.
In his lifetime, Genovevo accomplished great deeds, most notably being an amazing husband and father, an even more amazing grandfather, and significantly contributing to the Filipino Heritage Nights with the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Los Angeles Clippers, and the Los Angeles Chargers through his 3G's Care Foundation. His best lessons instilled the conviction to believe in oneself and that it's never too late to achieve greatness.
Genovevo's legacy is one of perseverance, kindness, selflessness, community pride, and love. His positive influence and spirit will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
A Viewing for Genovevo will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at 5:00 PM at the Rose Hills Memorial Park & Mortuary, followed by a Funeral service on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Rose Hills Memorial Chapel.
