One of the highlights of working at KLOS was working with Geno and the 5O’Clock funnies. Can’t believe I got paid to laugh a few hours a day. You’ll be missed buddy.

He and I met at Hollywood’s Don Martin School of Broadcasting ( it was not Columbia). We worked together at KSFM and KOME, both respecting Mikel Hunter as the great talent and mentor he was. After I suffered a stroke in 2019, Geno ( or Heen as I called him), called me and we stayed in contact constantly. I shared condolences on his loss of Jonzi, having lost cats myself, and was pleased when Bud Bud came to be his companion. We would quote the Marx Brothers and Mel Brooks films verbatim, sometimes talk politics, but mostly texted crazy stuff back and forth daily. Gonna miss this guy. Truly one of a kind. 

What a lovely tribute. He was an amazing friend to us all. God bless the one and only Geno.
