Gene's obituary

BRISTOL- Gene Bryan Sasnett, 66, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 30, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Beth Bryan-Sasnett for 27 years.
Born in North Kingston, Rhode Island he was the son of Gloria M. Sasnett and the late Eugene F. Sasnett.
Gene proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a longtime and active member of Faith Christian Center in Seekonk, Mass. Gene was an avid acrylic painter, as well as passionate photographer and poet. He was known for his unique sense of humor, often shown in his vibrant shirt selections.
Gene was a devoted and loving husband, son, father and grandfather.
Gene also leaves three children, daughter Michelle Tolleson and husband Jeremy Tolleson of Bristol, daughter Hazel Willis and husband Bart Willis of Central Falls, son Clint Sasnett and fiancée Erin Fitzgerald of North Providence and son, the late Timothy Bryan.
Besides his wife Beth, Gene leaves behind his sister Wendy C. Brunelle and her husband, Armand of Cumberland along with their son Aaron Brunelle; brother John M. Sasnett and his husband, Ryan Osal of Philadelphia, PA; six grandchildren, Alex Tainsh, Minnie and Bette Tolleson, Aiden, Jessie, and Nina Bryan.
A Committal Service with Military Honors for friends and family will be held on Friday at 12:30 pm in Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter, RI.
A gathering celebrating Gene's life will be held at Faith Christian Center, 95 Sagamore Rd, Seekonk, MA 02771, on Friday, May 11th at 2pm for family and friends.
Flowers are respectfully omitted but memorial gifts may be donated to the RI Division of Veteran Affairs. Care provided by Smith Funeral Memorial Services, Warren, RI.
