It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gene Auth, who was born on October 13, 1960, and departed from this life on December 5, 2023. Gene was a man remembered by many for his warm, happy-go-lucky, and loving personality. He brought joy, laughter, and unconditional love to everyone around him.

Gene leaves behind his beloved daughter, Kira Auth, who will forever remember her father's infectious happiness and boundless love. His sister, Val Banta (Jeff Banta), and brother, Richard Auth (Laurie Auth), also survive him. They fondly recall their brother's warmth and joyous spirit, characteristics that will live on in their hearts forever.

Gene was preceded in death by his mother, Deloris Bumgardner, and father, Edward Bumgardner, who are undoubtedly welcoming their son with open arms in heaven. Gene was a man who touched many lives and left a lasting impact on everyone he came across. He will be greatly missed, but his spirit will continue to live on through those who loved him.

When God looked around and saw an empty space, He looked down upon the earth and saw Gene's tired face. He lovingly put his arms around Gene, lifting him to a place of eternal rest. Seeing that Gene's road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb, God gently whispered, "peace be thine." Now, Gene rests peacefully in the arms of his creator, free from the burdens of this world, but forever alive in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
