Gem Arnold, 72, passed away September 9, 2025 from an illness.

She is preceded in death by her father Jerry Mealey, mother Dorothy Clewell.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Richard (Allan), her sisters Dinah Mileski, Heidi Branigan, Toby Mealey, Muffin Wood, and many nieces. Uncle Charles and Daisy Hartline of Florida.

Gem was a long-time member of the Southeast Akron Congregation, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mogadore, OH and will be deeply missed. She was baptized as a servant of our loving God Jehovah, in 1967. She deeply appreciated His purpose and love for mankind and the sacrifice at great cost of his loving Son Jesus Christ (John 3:16).

Gem did not fear death. Her Bible based hope of a future resurrection to a healthy and happy life on a restored paradise earth sustained her in her final days of illness. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29).

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 20th, 2025 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2180 Martin Rd, Mogadore, Oh at 2:00pm.
