Dear Courtney and family,
I am so very sorry to learn of Mom’s death. She was a wonderful mom and grandma! I will never forgive myself for not getting up to Valatie and meeting with both of you just for fun. Please know my thoughts are with you and the entire family. We are away at this time., but you can be sure IF I was home I would be with you on this sad day.
With much love,
Mrs. Mansfield

Always one with a smile a good word and a hug. Gayle will be terribly missed. My sincere heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of this wonderful woman. Heaven has gain another angle. Rest in peace.
When I look back to my childhood, Aunt Gayle is in many of my memories. I so enjoyed the days when I would spend Summer weeks away with you all. The days of making ceramics. My most special Christmas ornmanent is one made for me by Aunt Gayle. It is dated 1974. Every year I so carefully unpack it and always place it close to the top right in front. After my mom, Aunt Gayle was the next most influential adult woman in my life. I will always be your “Mickey”

Condolences to Uncle Bud, Chrisie, Cindy, Courtney and rest of the gang. I hope the void you feel today will fill some with the wealth of happy memories and experiences you all cherish.

A wonderful, thoughtful Aunt and Great-Aunt. Aunt Gayle has always been a part of the biggest moments of my life from crying with me on 9/11 to celebrating my wedding and the birth of my children. I am so grateful to have had her in my life. Sending all my love to you all.

I loved and always will love this warm, caring, positive, beautiful woman!
My heart is broken.
My deepest sympathies to Bud, Chris, Cindy, Courtney, and all of Gayle's family.
Back in college, I had the opportunity to travel to Ireland with my "big brother" and "big sister" along with Christine and Gayle. As one of my "dates" for the trip -- we had so much fun singing and dancing to Irish music together. I'll never forget this sweet, warm woman. Rest in Peace!

My grandmummy ❤️. Some of my favorite memories growing up were at grandmas house, playing the Egyptian computer game, swimming in their pool, playing nick at nite trivia with gma and gpa, snack tables of crackers & cheese and always a shrimp ring and a plethora of chips and onion dip ! Trips to old Sturbridge village with my grandparents and sisters, our family’s vacation to cape cod, bbqs, nights we slept over and the way her blankets felt. A lifetime of small simple moments that made up a happy childhood. She was one of the strongest yet softest people i have ever known. I will miss her warm beautiful smile, the way she greeted us so happily with her welcoming voice, how she held our hand as she spoke to us, the way she smelled like a floral perfume, her enthusiasm and excitement in life, her sincere care and interest in our lives, and above all the way that she loved my children and made them feel loved and welcome. She made my childhood so special, with memories that will stay in my heart for my lifetime.
