I was so sorry to learn of Gayden's passing. Although it's been too many years, his presence and politeness always will be remembered. I have very fond memories of SMU football games and many great times at the White's house. Gayden was one of the few you would call a role model, positive influence and friend. They don't make them like Gayden anymore and he will truly be missed by anyone who connected with him.
Prayers and sincere condolences to the entire family.

Our heats are crying. Gayden (& Rose) were great neighbors. Gayden was a wonderful man. I always enjoyed my visits with him. He would always feed my wild pet squirrel, Sammie, pecans whenever I went out of town. He enjoyed seeing “Sammie” throw the pecans in the air and run & hide the pecans!!! Not too many people understand wildlife, but he did. He will be missed by all. Condolences to sweet Rose & the family.

My deepest sympathies to you Rose, Lauren, Graham. Chris. and the rest of your family. Gayden was my first cousin whom I had lost track of over the years. Im so thankful we were able to reconnect last year and share updates on our families and reminance old memories of the Duncan and White families.

Growing up in the 80's with Gayden as a neighbor
The neighborhood always knew when Rose had dinner ready. Gayden would simply step out the font door and announce with that booming voice of his, "Chris! Lauren! It's time to come home!" (Graham was still a baby at this point).
Gayden was such a great neighbor -- good for a laugh and always there to help. Like the time we had planted watermelons in the neighbor's garden that we all tended to when they went out of town for the summer. The watermelon plants grew, but we never saw any fruit developing. One day Gayden came over telling us to go look in the garden -- "you'll never believe what's growing!". We all went to investigate --- and found the watermelon Gayden had bought at Tom Thumb and tied to the watermelon vine!
