I am so thankful he taught me as much as he did. After he passed, his voice was in my ear saying "just get it done, if you don't get satisfaction escalate to a manager." I learned how to use tools (some that I never thought I would, like an electric tree trimmer, now I want a larger electric one. I put things together because I had to only because he taught me. I stay on top of the car maintenance, because he taught me. He taught me not to judge people (hey, I'm a Deborah...she was a judge). He taught me so much and for that I am thankful. I miss him so much and I miss his expertise. We were each other's right arms. The dynamic duo, the A-Team, the Power Team. We were called that a lot at our last job. He also taught me humility towards the end along with how to extend grace and mercy, because he extended me those during his last couple of years.  I think of what a very intelligent and funny man he was.  If he said he was going to do something, he would do it.  I just miss him so much, but I know he's in the arms of Jesus and he's worshiping alongside so many others that met him when he arrived.
Gary was the best Boy Scout leader ever and we are grateful to him for the time he invested in our son during those growing up years.  So very glad to hear that the Lord did capture Gary's attention and adoration.  God is good!

Thank you, Deb. Gary was a huge part of Ryan’s life. I will definitely try and make it on July 18. I know him and Ryan are up there fishing. I’m sure they’re catching a big fish every day. Whenever I hear Way Maker, I will definitely think of Gary 💜

As his wife, he was checking me out when I was in the 7th grade and he was in the 8th. He said he watched me from the mezzanine at Central Jr. High in Palmer Alaska. I would be practicing with the drill team. But I had my eye on a basketball player who drew snoopy. Anyway, he was introduced to me in 9th grade by a friend. He was a sophmore and we met at the Freshman dance at Palmer High School.
