Gary “Super” Suprynowicz passed away unexpectedly at his home in Kensington, CT on Sunday August 29th 2021, at the age of 67. Gary was born on February 22nd 1954, in New Britain, CT. He grew up in New Britain and became a resident of Kensington since 1988. He was the son of Joseph and Lucy (Cozzolongo) Suprynowicz. Gary leaves behind his daughter Kayla Suprynowicz, her fiancé Jay and his granddaughter, whom he loved more than anything, Mya Suprynowicz- all of Simsbury, CT. He also leaves behind a myriad of close friends. Gary graduated from Goodwin Tech in New Britain, CT and then worked his entire career at UConn Medical Center as the Supervisor of the Plumbing department. Gary was a member at many local clubs- The Italian Independent Political Club in Berlin, The Elks Lodge #957 and the VFW #511 of New Britain just to name a few. He was also a volunteer for the Lions Club for many years at the Berlin Fair and never missed one year. Gary enjoyed cooking, a great glass of wine, playing the lottery, some good bluegrass music and he was an avid Seattle Seahawks fan. Gary loved to be in Vermont and spent most of his weekends at Kenolie Village Campground.
A Celebration of life will be held at the Italian Independent Political Club in Berlin on October 30th 2021, from 2-6p.
