CMMI world gave me the unique opportunity to have not only a colleague with remarkable work skills and knowledge, but also one of the most positive person in my life. We didn't have many face-to-face meetings, and since 2020, all of these meetings have been virtual only, but regardless of the type of meeting, Gary and I always managed to say something to each other and it was always a very positive dialogue. With Gary gone, I lost a piece of my “positive self.” Gary, you was and will stay the important part of my life. My condolences to loved ones.

Gary and I were colleagues in the world of the CMMI. He would always take the time to directly send me regular holiday greetings, texts, emails and calls, and I fondly recall many very productive, honest, yet collegial discussions with a few laughs along to boot. For Gary - his motivation was always with the intention of what he thought best for CMMI and its community and customers and I have always deeply respected for him for that. I always found him to be thoughtful, professional, and polite, with a sharp wit and mind. I will miss him and those conversations. Godspeed Gary, and Go Navy!
