Gary's obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Gary "Doober" Stroik, JR, who passed away on June 26, 2021. Born June 15, 1968, He is survived by his Mother, Evelyn, his sister Connie, and his nieces and nephews, Drew, Taylor and Dylan.
Gary, also known affectionately as Doober, lived a life that was characterized by a gentle and caring spirit. He had the rare ability to infuse a sense of joy and laughter into the lives of those he met.
Gary had a unique and inviting personality that drew people into his world. He was a compassionate, funny, and gentle soul who loved living life to its fullest. His laughter was infectious, and his kindness knew no bounds. He had a natural ability to brighten up a room and leave an indelible mark on people's hearts with his charming wit and warm spirit.
One of Gary's most enduring qualities was his love for animals. He believed that kindness towards the animal kingdom was a reflection of one's character and often shared the lesson "Be kind to animals." His empathy towards animals was a testament to his big heart and gentle soul.
In his death, Gary is followed by his nephew, Drew Stroik. The bond they shared was special and their memories together will forever remain in the hearts of the Stroik family. Drew will certainly miss the love and guidance of his Uncle Gary, but the lessons he learned from him will be an everlasting guide in his life.
