Gary Alden Lightbody 78, of Houlton Maine died Monday October 14, 2019 after a brief illness. He was born in Haverhill, MA son of the late Alden and Edna Lightbody.
Gary served 23 years in the US Air Force, retiring with a rank of MSgt., serving 2 tours in Vietnam.
After retiring, he worked as a dispatcher for the Houlton Police Dept. Then went on to work at the US Border Patrol retiring from there.
Gary was loved by all who knew him and will be missed.
He leaves his wife Charlotte Lightbody, of Houlton and one sister Gail Duquette and her husband Louis of Melbourne Florida. He leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
His service will be held at The Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery in Caribou Maine on Wednesday October 23, 2019
