Gary Green, 70, of Little Rock, AR, passed away on August 18, 2022 after a hard fought battle with Cancer.

Gary was born on August 15th, 1952  to Bertha & Gary Green Sr. in Lake Village, Ar. After graduating from Central High school in 1970, he went on to study Physical Therapy at Baptist Health- Little Rock.


After graduation, he landed his first job as a Physical Therapist for Baptist Health for 38 years. In 1974, he met Jean Banks, and they wed in 1979, going on to have 2 children, Erika Johninson, & Gary Green III.


Gary was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to his than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Erika, Gary III, and Jean, and always tried his best to support them.


Gary was also a passionate musician and could often be found singing locally when he wasn’t at home.


Anyone who knew Gary knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. Gary was predeceased by Gary Green Sr, Bertha Green, Gary Green III, and a host of siblings. He is survived by Jean Green, Erika Johninson, 4 Grandchildren, & 4 Great-Grandchildren. The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to 8315 Moonbeam trl. There will be a funeral service Saturday, August 27,2022, 10:00 AM at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 518 St Marys St, Lake Village, Ar, 71653.
