Gary's obituary

Sharpe Spur Community,

Mr. Gary Lee “Weezy” Galbreath, age 49 of the Sharpe Spur Community, died Thursday, July 21, 2011, in the Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia after an extended illness. He was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County, living in Sharpe Spur all of his life. He was employed with Piggly Wiggly Southern for fourteen years, and presently with Malcolm Jones Logging. He formerly attended the New Corinth Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by his father, George W. “Coot” Galbreath, and a brother, Billy Franklin Galbreath. He enjoyed fishing and his raising game cocks. 
 
Mr. Galbreath is survived by his wife, Sherry Reynolds Galbreath of Sharpe Spur; one son, Ashley Galbreath and wife Kelly; one grandson, Caleb Galbreath all of Lyons; his mother, Low Rita Maddox Galbreath of Sharpe Spur; three brothers, John Edward “Buddy” Galbreath of Sharp Spur, Michael L. Galbreath and wife Brenda of Higgston, and Randy Paul Galbreath and wife Christy of Sharpe Spur; two sisters, Dorothy Ann Galbreath of Sharpe Spur, and Marlene Willhite and husband Jimmy of Glenwood, and three longtime faithful companions, “Smokey”, “Belle” and “Bullet”.
 
 Funeral services will be held Monday, July 25th at 11:00 am in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Bob Corley and Jessie Todd officiating. Interment will follow in the Galbreath Cemetery.
  
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
