It is with deep love and fond remembrance that we announce the passing of Gary John Fry, of Pocatello, Idaho, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 75.
Gary was born on November 11, 1949, in Modesto, California. A proud father, devoted Papa, and cherished friend, Gary lived a full and vibrant life. He found great joy in coaching football for all four of his boys, traveling across the country, and spending quality time visiting family and friends. With an easy smile and warm heart, Gary never met a stranger—his gift of conversation and connection made a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.
During his retirement, Gary embraced life on his own terms, exploring the beauty of America and making unforgettable memories along the way. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty that will live on through those who knew him best.
Gary is survived by his four sons: Jed (Crystle), Joshua (Nichole), Jacob (Tara), and John (Jasmine). He was the proud and loving Papa to eight grandchildren: Sierra, Logan, Charlotte, Addison, Avery, Evan, Luke, and Ellisyn.
A celebration of Life will be held in Gary’s honor on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at:
