Gary's obituary

Gary Brown of Burnside, Ky., beloved husband, Father, Grand-father and Great Grand-father, passed away on October 17th, 2021 at the age of 73, after a hard fought battle with heart issues.
Gary was born on July 23rd, 1948 in Middletown, Ohio, 2nd oldest son to Wilma (Hanson) Brown and Fred Brown. Gary met Connie, his loving wife of over 49 years. He attended Middletown High School, went into the US Army and worked for the prestigious United States Army Security Agency, during a portion of the Vietnam conflict. He worked at and retired from, after 30 years, at AK Steel in Middletown, Ohio, while serving again, as a Sergeant, in the United States Air Force Reserve, stationed at Wright Pat Air Force Base.
Gary and Connie came to “Party Central”, Dixie Bend, Ky. And lived a good life, making friends, seeing old friends, making memories and partying like a rock star! Gaining a nickname of “G-Money” or simply “Brownie” to most. He was able to create great memories for his children Brian Brown, Kristine (Griffith) Brown, Corey and Sarah Brown. His grand-children Kierstyn (Cowell) Hargraves, Chris Hargraves, Erik Cowell, Christi (Hammonds) Cowell and Nicholas Brown, his great grand-children, Aria Grace Hargraves and was preceded by his great grandson, Caysen Cowell. Gary was very close to and preceded by his older brother Lee Brown, younger brother Bill Brown and his baby sister Paula (Oliphant) Brown.
Gary had an impact on everyone he encountered. He was a character, funny and always had a good time. He will be missed, but not forgotten. He will also be seen again when it’s our time to go home to the Lord.
Per his wishes, before he went home to see the Lord, he instructed that he did not wish to have a service or funeral. A special thank you for all the love and support to the entire family and friends.
