Garrett was born on April 22, 1987 in Sylmar, CA. to his parents Mark and Jennifer. Garrett attended schools in Santa Clarita Valley and was passionate about sports growing up. Later in young adulthood he was nearly a pro paintballer, and loved competing in the sport.

After graduating high school, Garrett moved to the San Fernando Valley with his longtime girlfriend, Jessica. He worked as a mechanic in his close friends’ paint and body shop, and later in life he worked as a sheet metal specialist. Garrett loved spending time with his partner, and their daughter Alexis who was born in 2009.

Garrett Steven Meyer, 33, of Santa Clarita, CA. is remembered by his loving family. He leaves behind both his parents, grandmothers, partner, big extended family, and a daughter named Alexis, who many say look a lot like him! ♥️

Garrett died unexpectedly on May 12, 2020 from various health complications. His loss was completely unexpected, and left his family deeply saddened. But today we try to celebrate his life, not mourn it. Garrett had a fun and silly side to him, and had many friends and loved ones. He was so very young that he was still trying to find his purpose in life, as many of us are. He was very close with his family,  and  always attended family gatherings. The Meyer family and his extended family will miss him more than words can say. ♥️
