It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Garrett Scott Holman. Born on December 15th of 1980, his life was sadly cut short on December 26th, 2023.

Garrett was a beacon of kindness and generosity. He had a heart that knew no bounds, and his compassionate spirit touched the lives of everyone he met. Despite life's hardest challenges, his capacity to love and give never waned. His legacy of kindness and generosity will be his lasting imprint on this world, and he will be sorely missed.

A funeral service to honor Garrett's life will be held on January 7th, 2024 at 2:00 PM. The service will take place at Bridge Space (210 SW Market St. Lees Summit, MO 64063) for friends, family, and loved ones to gather in remembrance of him. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM with service following right after from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

A candlelight memorial will take place back at Garrett's house around 6:00 PM. Please bring anything you would like to leave him to show your love and memory of him. Please know this will be family friendly and an alcohol free environment (12611 E 34th Terrace Independence, MO 64055).

Garrett's sudden departure leaves a void that can never be filled. His memory, however, will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him. Even though he is no longer with us physically, his spirit continues to inspire and motivate. He will always be remembered for his kindness, his generosity, and his unwavering love for those around him.

May his soul rest in peace, and may his legacy continue to touch and inspire lives for generations to come. Garrett, you are dearly missed.
