Hey everyone its Todd I probably know a lot of you and sorry its taken this tragedy to bring us together. Man when I first met Garrett he was wearing guess Jean's rolled up at the ankle. Some leather jacket and his preppy haircut and I thought look at this preppy. I didn't think we were to become friends he just didn't seem to be the kind of guy I hang out with. Well to my surprise and good fortune he ended up being one of my closes friends. Even in high school Garrett knew he was going to be a wealthy man . But he never turned down his nose or acted better than and at that age it must have been easy to act that way but he never did. I truly respected him for that. Now me and Garrett did some things I never would have thought he would do with me. I'm pretty sure he just did those things with me to show me that he is a good friend and had my back. That's who Garrett is a man that has his friends back's. I wish I would have followed his lead how to succeed in life. He led by the right example. Now I had Garrett's back many many times but I wish I could have had his back when he needed me to this one last time. But I celebrate the life of my friend Garrett a man that led by example with honesty, respect, and loyalty. To my friend Garrett I love you bro my life is fuller because you are part of it. . To all of you that I know remember that just like that one of us can be gone tomorrow so don't let your friendships fade because when were gone were gone. I hope to see you all in the near future. Take care and Sam can get me your numbers if you want to talk. To Garrett my friend my brother I'll miss you!!!

Miss and love you so much Unc…
Miss and love you so much Uncle G❤️ So fortunate and grateful for the memories we were able to make

Garrett wasn’t just a friend — he was my best friend, my brother. We’ve been great friends since the day we met at Pepperdine back in 1993, and from that moment on, our paths just stayed intertwined. Same goals, same drive, same sense of humor, and a whole lot of shared life in between.

There are too many experiences to count and too many memories to put into words. I cherished every moment we spent together — whether it was just the two of us talking about life, work, and dreams, or time spent with his family, who he loved so deeply. Those moments are forever etched in my heart.

I’ll miss his quirky sayings, the way he could lighten any situation, and that familiar voice that always felt like home. Garrett had a way of making life feel fuller just by being in it.

So many experiences together. So many memories. And not nearly enough time.

Rest in peace, my brother. You will always be with me.
