Galen and I saw one of my all time favorite bands (Ride) play in Philadelphia around 2017. We had such a great time and got these massive pizza slices afterward. Galen was there sometime in the last few months and texted me a pic of the pizza.
That time I took Galen to see my alma mater Michigan State Spartans play at the storied Palestra in Philadelphia. Galen *hated* sports but he nonetheless went with me to the game. We had so much fun grabbing pizza and beers before the game.
I’m am so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful tribute — your words paint a picture of an wonderful person. We should all be so lucky to have a relationship like the two of you shared. You’re in my thoughts and prayers.

February 2022: Galen's visit to Arizona
Morristown NJ after our father passed away. The three of us grieving our father.

South Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA, USA

I first met Galen while he was working at beautiful world records. I remember walking through the door and he was already mid sentence talking to me. I thought I must know this guy, how is he so friendly and casual?  but I did not. That was just how he was. Over the years, Galen met many people at my house, for bbq’s or other events and he was like that with everyone single person. They all looked confused, trying to place this person that they had never met before, treating them like an old friend.

I’ll miss you man. Harassing the count at Columbus flea market, getting angry over chicken wing prices and losing our minds about the the norristown  goodwill taping EVERY SINGLE LP CLOSED

rest easy my friend
