Obituary
Gaither Lee Edwards, 90, a Moore County native, passed away on Monday, May 4th surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Edwards grew up on his grandparent’s farm in Cameron and later moved to Carthage where he worked odd jobs including, Allen’s Drug Store, the movie theater and A & P. He proudly served his country in the US Navy aboard the USS General H W Butner. He loved sharing stories about his service during the …
