Gail's obituary
Gail Patricia (Gallaher) Figlow passed away peacefully on June 15th, 2024 with her children by her side.
Gail was born on January 7th, 1964 to Earl and Susan Gallaher in Camden, NJ. At a young age, she and her family moved to Sarasota, FL where she would live the rest of her life and considered it her hometown. As a youth growing up in Sarasota, she loved Siesta Key and was a proud member of the Riverview High School marching band. Later in life, she enjoyed the picturesque Florida sunsets, singing karaoke, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Gail treasured her four children and as a homemaker, devoted her life to raising them. Once her kids were older, she went on to work in the classroom at several elementary schools in Sarasota during a career that spanned 23 years with the Sarasota County School District. She had an immeasurable impact on many children throughout the years and will be remembered as a caring and compassionate woman, often putting the needs of others above her own. Everyone she met instantly loved her. She was truly an angel on Earth.
She was preceded in death by her Mom and Dad, Sue and Earl Gallaher; her brother, Earl (Skip) Gallaher; and her loving son, Sean Beasley.
Gail is survived by her husband, Nick Figlow of Sarasota, FL; her beloved children Steve Beasley (Gina), Tricia Bailey (Clint), and Jaime Smither (Matt); her precious grandchildren Sean Jr., Ethan, Caden, Simon, Christopher, Mason, Jasmyn, Levi, Landon, and Makenzie; her sisters, Connie (Vic) and Susie; her adored Aunt Pattie (Dave); and many loved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family and friends will be invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 20th.
Rest in Peace Gail, we love you.
See you later.
