In loving memory of our mother, Freeda Davis, who passed away on March 23, 2025 at the young age of a 103.  

Mom was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Newton Davis and is survived by her 3 children: Carol Rhodes, Joyce Pyatt and Bradley Davis, 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. 

Mom was an artist who enjoyed painting, wrote poetry, was a profession dancer, an avid reader, a puzzler, and a total card shark that loved playing poker and other card games.  She loved reading to her great grandkids and playing games with them.  Mom was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. She was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.  

The funeral service will be held at Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Biloxi, Ms. on May 28th @ 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 225 N Michigan Ave., Chicago Ill, 60601. 

Mom, you will always be in our hearts and we will never forget you. We love you so much. Rest in peace.
