Fredrick's obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Fredrick Weber, a beloved Son, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, cousin, and friend. Born on December 29, 1937, Fredrick lived a long and fulfilling life filled with laughter, love, and a serving spirit before his peaceful passing on October 19, 2025.
Fredrick will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Elaine Weber, granddaughters Amber Scherbaty, Jennifer(Jason) Goldie, Holee (James) Goerke; Great grandchildren Savannah, Jayden, Blake, Kaiden, Bryce, Farrah, Declen, and Knox; Cousins Diane, Marilyn, and Joyce; Childhood friend Danny(Rosy) Varton. All of them have been deeply touched by his warmth, wit, and generosity.
Fred was a man of simple tastes, with a deep love for fish and chips, old westerns, WWE wrestling, and the music of Elvis, Michael Jackson, and Prince. A lifelong fan of the Detroit Tigers, he loved the team spirit and camaraderie of baseball, and enjoyed passing his afternoons with fishing, puzzles, and word crosses.
With a personality that could be best described as witty and sarcastic, Fredrick lived his life fully, always reminding those around him to "Enjoy the moment, be present and forget the past and move on." His laughter, teasing, the shared ice creams, squirt gun fights and the thoughtfulness towards his grandkids are memories that they will cherish forever.
A dedicated professional, Fredrick proudly served at the Cadillac Motor Car Company in Michigan and Clark for 31 years, a highlight among his many accomplishments. Yet, he considered his greatest achievement to be the love and lessons he bestowed upon his grandkids, especially teaching them to fish, a symbol of his enduring legacy.
Fredrick Weber was an extraordinary man who lived his life with purpose and passion, and he will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His life reminds us of the importance of loving deeply, laughing freely, and savoring each moment.
