Frederick Stephen Widmer, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, was called home peacefully in his sleep on September 3, 2025, at the age of 77 in Austin, Texas. Born during January of 1948 in Florida, to Reuben B. and Annabel Widmer. Frederick lived his life rooted in love, faith and perseverance.
He grew up in Winfield, Iowa where he formed his work ethic delivering newspapers and helping with seasonal crops, and his love for football …
