Frederick Westerman died at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral on November 27, 2021.  A loving husband and father, he is survived by his wife of 48 years and 4 daughters and a son.  Fred was also a proud grandfather of 7 and 2 Great-Grandchildren.

Retired from the Philadelphia Police Department.  Fred's most rewarding time with the Police Department was as an undercover member of the A.C.T. unit  and after a series of promotions, a Sergeant in Homicide receiving many commendations and awards for outstanding work.   Upon retiring, Fred moved with his wife and three youngest children to Florida where they resided in Cape Coral.

As a former US Marine, Fred was interred with Military Honors on March 25, 2022 at the Sarasota Veterans Administration Cemetery.
