Martha

As you can well imagine I don’t know where to start.

Fred and I met back in what…1975 ? He came to Herron to see the new faculty art exhibit.I had put up some of my large scale Messerschmitt drawings from my 1973 ( ? ) Masters thesis show at SUNYAB.

Little did I know…..what a rewarding and unforgettable relationship would grow out of that chance meeting of the minds.

Martha, I’d love to come visit you in Martinsville sometime ( and bring my better half Barbara Ruth Ireland ) she bought one of your delightfully strange early dolls

PLEASE PLEASE give me your email address

Archie ( long time admirer of the Taj Garage )

Anne, I'm sorry to only now hear of your father's passing. He and my dad were thick as thieves for decades and your dad was immensely helpful to me and my sister when my dad passed away. My condolences.

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth

And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;

Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth

of sun-split clouds,—and done a hundred things

You have not dreamed of—wheeled and soared and swung

High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there,

I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung

My eager craft through footless halls of air ....

Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue

I've topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace

Where never lark nor ever eagle flew—

And, while with silent lifting mind I've trod

The high untrespassed sanctity of space,

Put out my hand, and touched the face of God."
