Frederick's obituary

Fred Ewald, age 76, passed away in the morning of July 11 at Martin Memorial Hospital Cleveland Clinic after falling and a long brave fought battle with Leukemia.. Fred was born in Detroit, Michigan on Feb 17, 1944 to Harvey and Charlotte Ewald residents of both Michigan and Boca Raton, FL.. He is a graduate of Bloomfield Hills High School in Michigan, a 1966 graduate of Duke University where he majored in Psychology and was The Captain of the Golf Team winning several Championships. Fred relocated to Boca Raton, FL in 1974 where he graduated Florida Atlantic University with a Masters Degree in Guidance and Counseling...Fred worked for the Boynton Beach Municipal Golf Course as an Assistant Golf Pro,... worked as a Realtor in Boca Raton for Gimelstob Realty and Prudential Florida Realty, also worked part-time as a Substitute Teacher for Omni Middle School Special Education Department.. He was a member at St. Marks Episcopal Church and St. Jude Catholic Church both in Boca Raton, FL.. Fred leaves behind his wife of 30 years.. Gail Ewald, one son, Frederick Harvey Louis Ewald born in 1987.. his sister Judy Oleson of La Jolla, CA, a niece Jennifer DiNofia and a nephew Chip Stockmeyer both of La Jolla, CA. Fred also had several fur babies that were his special girls.. Peaches, Princess and Midnight.....Fred loved everything about golf and always shot a score lower then 69... it was his dream to one day play on the Senior Tour..our hearts are broken he was loved and will always be in his families hearts....in lieu of Flowers donations can be made to: The American Cancer Society
