Fredrick "Fred" Everett Doty

Fred Doty of Dothan passed away Tuesday December 3rd, 2019 at the young age of 74, at SAMC after an extended illness. Fred was born August 1st, 1945 in Lansing, Michigan, but spent most of his life in Dothan, where he married the love of his life, his wife of over 30 years Ruth Fesler. Fred is preceded in death by his mother Marjorie, father Leslie and brother Paul. He is survived by his wife Ruth, four children, Beverly (Hugh) Hodge, Cheryl Sanchez, Maria Lockett and Marcus Doty and six grandchildren, all of Dothan.He was a loving husband and father. He will be missed by many. The family will have a private ceremony at a later date.
