In loving memory of our father, Frederick "Pa Pa" Schoonmaker, who, after a tremendous battle with cancer and everything else that came with it, passed peacefully surrounded by family on December 14, 2022.  He was the devoted husband of Maryrose, loving father of Heather and Dean, caring father in-law of Tamara, proud "Pa Pa" of James, Dathen, and Jayden, great grandfather of Bentley, and honorary "Dad" to Amanda. Frederick was a retired Vietnam Veteran who served honorably for 22 years in the United States Air Force. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Dad was one of the kindest souls on this planet. Our father was a gentle, giving man who worked tirelessly to ensure that his family had everything they needed. He faced every challenge in life with admirable strength and courage.

Early in life, our father learned the importance of hard work and he instilled that same work ethic in us. He was always there for us, whether we needed help or just a shoulder to cry on. He had a caring heart and he taught us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right.

Our father was a true blessing to us all.

Thanks Dad, for the wisdom you shared and the many life lessons you gave.  You are now at peace, but a void has been left in all our lives. We love you so much. Rest in peace.
