Passed away in the morning hours of February 17, 2023.

Frederick Moore Bowling was born to the late Charles and Bertha Lee Bowling, on August 9th in Liberty Township, in Butler County, Ohio in 1939. Fred is survived by five daughters: Jenalyn Schneider, Jill Ann Lander, Leslea Ellen Bowling, Charlette Jaclyn Bowling, and Charalyn Beth Bowling, nine grandchildren: Matthew Joseph Lander, Samuel Thomas Schneider, Greta Elizabeth Schneider, Alexandre Donovan Bowling, Elijah Zachary Bowling, Sophia Faith Bowling, Samantha Grace Bowling, Benjamin Thomas Harmon, and Lillian Elizabeth Harmon, and his sister Grace George (Bowling) and brother-in-law Bob.

Fred was an auto mechanic and an entrepreneur for most of his life. He worked on cars over 55 years, and had FMB, Inc. for his auto business and other entrepreneurial endeavors. For years he had flea market booths selling anything from die cast metal vehicles to purses and perfumes. For a while he had full-service gas stations in Indianapolis, Indiana and at another time a tanning salon and exhaust shop in Kentucky, as he lived in Corbin, Kentucky for many of his final years. He loved to travel and see the ocean and the sights of the mountains, and sharing that joy with his late wife, Lectie Annette, who’s death preceded his in July 2022.

He has chosen not to have any services or arrangements after his passing; however, the family will decide their plans privately and with whom to share that information at the time.
