Freddine Virginia Mitchell], 73], of [Augusta, Ga], passed away on April 1,2021 after a long battle with Covid 19. Freddine was born on November 7, 1948 to Helen and Fred Mitchell in Augusta, Ga. After graduating from Lucy C  Laney High School in 1967, she went on to study Muti Skills Health Care Technician at Augusta Technical College.

After graduation, she landed her first job of many at University Hospital  for years.   In 1973 She had her first daughter Nicole Mitchell, and in 1976 she had her second daughter Keshia Mitchell. When Freddine had her fist child, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother.? In 2005, Freddine Mitchell retired from the Food Service at the Veterans Administration Hospital where she received many awards and certificates for her outstanding service. Freddine reinstated her membership at Beulah Grove Baptist Church in Augusta, GA where she was a faithful member of the Inspirational Choir. She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and singing in the choir and traveling. Freddine was called to eternal rest onApril 1, 2022. She will be missed by all who knew her. Freddine leaves to cherish her memory two loving daughters, Nicole Mitchell and Keshia Mitchell; mother, Helen ;brother Billy Mitchell. Grandchildren Kavares, DeJayla, Karon and Katravius; many nieces and nephews; 5 great grandchildren and many   of beloved relatives and

friends.Freddine excelled at propping up members of her family and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. Whether that was supporting a child through difficulty or supporting a child through a passion, she made it her mission to improve the lives of others.

[Freddine was a passionate Singer and member of the choir and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in her traveling to visit her daughter. We will miss her greatly. Freddine was predeceased by Ronald Mitchell, Bernard Mitchell, Micheal Mitchell, Teresa Mitchell, Jacqueline Mitchell and many  family members who have passed away. She is survived by a host of family members who are still alive .A beautiful angel has gained her wings .
